Working alongside filmmaker Mike Flanagan, Blumhouse Productions and Intrepid Pictures, Filmograph was commissioned to bring a period-accurate feel to this franchise prequel. Our approach references the optical, low-fi feel of 1960s title sequences, replete with simple, classic animation, slow cross fades and granular imperfections to give the pieces a filmic, tactile quality.
