For our second collaboration with director Tim Burton, we crafted an animated title card that feels like a true redux of the classic film's original design. Taking inspiration from Pablo Ferro's iconic illustration, Filmograph updated the overall motif, adding dimension and gothic lighting to the clay-like headstone. The approach intentionally evokes the early stop motion animation work of Burton, while fitting squarely into a contemporary reimagining of the style some 36 years after its predecessor.
