Working on our second collaboration with director Peter Farrelly, Filmograph developed a sophisticated, yet subdued period-accurate look for the film's titles. True to the style and substance of the actual Green Book guide that informed African-American travelers where it was safe to stay in the 1960s American South, we used the design of these documents to inform our typographic decisions as a complement to the non-fictional aspects of the film.
